1. Data Collection and Usage
DriveWind Studio does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data, code, or prompts to any servers owned or operated by the extension developers. The extension operates entirely client-side within your browser.
2. AI Interaction
All AI interactions are performed directly between your browser and the Google Gemini API (generativelanguage.googleapis.com). Your prompts and code snippets are sent only to Google's servers for the purpose of generating responses.
3. API Key Security
DriveWind Studio requires a user-provided Google Gemini API Key. This key is encrypted locally on your device using the Web Crypto API (AES-GCM standard) before being saved to Chrome Local Storage. The key is never transmitted to us or any third parties.
4. Permissions Usage
- Host Permissions:Access to script.google.com is used solely to inject the coding assistant into the editor interface.
- Identity:Used strictly to authenticate with Google services to perform actions explicitly requested by you (e.g., creating a new project).
- Storage:Used to save your local preferences and encrypted API key.
